Costa Rica is supposed to have the worst spanish in any spanish speaking country... Hell a lot of locals can't even understand each other. They're also really picky on pronunciation, you can say the same thing perfectly 20 times, and then all of a sudden they'll go "ohhhhhhhh" and say it just how you did. Completely ridiculous.
