Yeah if a sponsor doesn't provide me with free content at least 100 pics per set, and 20 minute videos chopped up int 10, 15 and 30 second clips, pps of $50 on a $2.95 trial, with no pop ups or foreign redirects, paid weekly via paypal and doesn't send over a Thai Hooker to build my galleries and submit them for me while stroking my cock with her free hand then I'm not promoting them.

I do most of my sales from under promoted, non-hosted galleries. If you ask anyone for their content, I'm sure they will give it to you. Sometimes you have to get off your ass and work for you money.

Good question and this is my answer.
Sponsors are willing to bend over backwards to meet your needs especially if you have good quality traffic...however with that in mind you have to consider how a sponsor is going to continue to be profitable when the affiliates keep asking for more.

You the affiliate have to give up something in return for all these goodies...you can't have it all.

When I started in this biz there might have been a few hosted galleries out there honestly I do not recall. But I spent about $30 a day on new content for my galleries...because sponsors didn't even give you that.

I have always thought the same thing. The problem is sponsor's have not realised that they are merely frying content buy throwing it out in FHG's, MGP's etc...

Directly resulting in Diminishing value of content.
Personally I enjoy the art of solidifying value. Exposure sucks and cripples.
If you got somthing hot it will sell PERIOD. Everything else is just promoting. The art of getting maximum dollar per pic and movie is the aim not throwing it into the shit fan of life and hoping for the best.

Never cared for using hosted galleries myself as i've never seen one that converted anyway near as well as what i made myself, and that's even if using the same pics/clips.

This is really kinda sad as it ain't far from the truth .. still fun as hell though *LOL*

i working with folloing type of programms:

1. revshare (i stricly track and analise my traffic - including feeder traffic what i buying from fpctraffic - see sig - so most surfers stay for 2-3 month) - sure - for most important programm - like damcash in my sig - i request pass to member area because quality of member area directly depends to rebills) - sure if not p.2 - for example FEB/HawgsCash - these programms per signup, but these guys do alot good thing for me and help me sometimes in hard situations.
2. personal friends - i promoute their programm/sites only because of friendship - does not have any matter - convert them or not.
3. FHGs or p.2
4. freehost (subdomains or domains hosting) +freecontent (if this static host - i generating crosslinked freesites and move to other programm) - if dynamic (cgi)- i doing trade site and plug to my trade sites network.
5. payouts. i stay away (if not p.2) from ccbill - i hate checks/wires. it takes about a month here for cash check and if check less $100 - $3 per cashing or 3% if abvole $100. preffer epassporte now, after my epass problem been solved (btw, epassporte people - im really sorry about bad words to your side in past - i been even not my problem in epassporte account blocking and this solved - i just cannot control my emotions sometime when i getting very angry - you doing great work - and i really like be your customer)
6. taffic brockers - see sig (note - it not paid sig - actualy wm id important only at damcash - and not for get % from other people - have personal deal with owners, not cash related at all - so it for tracking only). Returning to traffic brokers - Ravo great guy and i really proud what in answer to his unlimited help to me in few difficult situations, when all other people who i contacted ignore my help requests, he always be with me, and he give me possiblities do something usefull for all people who using fpctraffic programm and myself- see sig, if you have some nonused/extout traffic - go, sell it to fpctraffic. also 2 his new programms in betatesting now and work great for me - because these programm really cool for all people - it even additional free cash for people who post galleries (i talking about new programm for 404 traffic). really not sure - can i post url here at the moment or not.

and sure here alot of people who i be promoute - for example right now - i doing CMS for new programm, also here be state of art promotools in this programm based at my scripting/webmaster expirience. sure - i be promoute them in hardest way as i can - because it my pleasure - see how my work doing nice, really cool, profit for me and my customers/friends.

I can't take personal responsibility for it...LOL However me my former partner MarcS along with a couple of others who I shall not name because of their small contribution had one of the first hosted gallery programs with DiabolicalGalleries.com .

There were some companies using hosted galleries...but not a whole lot.

We built galleries and hosted them on our own servers for TGP owners to use and took a small % of the referrals for ourselves.

LOL...you're right..no one else was doing it on that scale. We had hoped to take it bigger but everyone started giving out hosted galleries and people got greedy and figured they would go out and use up the sponsors and get 100% of the traffic.
But those who remained loyal made some damn good money.

personally i'd never use free hosted galleries. the hosting is usually shit and sponsors often employ shady tactics on em. not only that but you have nothing that sets your gallery apart from everyone else doing the same god damn thing. there is not much creativity or work ethic in A LOT of the newer ppl trying their hand at this game. when i first started there was no such thing as hosted anything, and much of the time i wish it stayed that way. would thin out the lazy webmasters and broke kids.

oh yeah they must have hosted galleries LOL

we all know the only way to make money is with tgp or mgp LOL
