Once younger people realize that eating meals at home is not only more affordable, but heathier and much more life-enriching they may pick up some better habits.
I learned from my grandparents who used to pick vedgies out of their garden every day pretty much and eat fresh food free. With a few key ingredients you could whip up a healthy meal for 4 for under 10$. My mom was a young single mom and we grew up eating dinner together every day. I now do the same for my husband, although we dont have children, I love to cook and it saves money and makes life so much better. Even if money is no object the residual advantages you'll never know until you try.
