when you wake up, make yourself some coffee and put a shot of whiskey in you coffee. it will make you feel a lot better ;]

I'd stay away from the milk. Milk tends to make excess mucous / phlegm.

I had the flu last week, got over it, and now have a cold. I am hating life right now.

Green Tea, it might not help for this cold, but it will keep future ones away for sure, it has loads of anti oxidents and all that good stuff.
The taste isn't that bad either, rather plain but try adding some lemmon juice.

Lemon juice isnt bad........try adding some grated ginger and some honey.

If it doesn't work after 5-6, atleast you won't notice your cold anymore
