              Escalator?


              The Hotel is basically located near the back of the original casino floor..just past the sports book..

              I dont know where or why they would put an escalator?

                  I've been here for a day already.. not that I've seen. As far as I can tell, it's just a long ass walk inside from one to the other.

                              Yep, a bit of a hike from the Mandalay main floor, and you get to the elevators to The Hotel, no escalators involved. If your friend is asking because of mobility or wheel chair issues, rather than idle curiosity, it's all accessible, just long distances between places. Even in places where there are escalators in big Vegas casinos, I think you'll find elevators nearby.
