"Sugar" Shane Mosley began the fight cautiously in the first round, but still managed to land a right hand that immediately brought some swelling to the left eye of Vargas. The eye did not play a factor in the first six rounds, but as the fight continued, so did Mosley's right hands.

good fight. Clash of styles. Looked like Mosely came out sharper for this one than he did in his last couple. Vargas was doing a good job of luring him into fighting his fight. Would have been an interesting decision but that eye was pretty bad.
Is Lacy/Calzaghe ppv or shobox? Lacy's exciting... Looking forward to a showy knockout by Lacy in that one.
Mosely will probably move to the front of the line to fight Mayweather after Judah since the payoff will be bigger than it would be for a fight with the actual worthy opponents (Margarito and Hatton) but Mosely will get destroyed and that will be 3 past prime, semi-washed up fighters down for big payoffs in a row for Floyd. What a class act. He should go for Trinidad after that and then maybe Tyson.Comment

Lacy/Calzaghe is on Showtime, interesting fight on paper, Lacy is up and coming while Calzaghe has been trying to go big time for awhile. I think Lacy will be favored but he hasn't really been tested. His biggest opponents were Scott Pemberton and Syd Vanderpool both of which are B fighters really.Originally posted by BobG
