                              Ulead GIF Animator ROCKS. Try and find version 3.0...it's the best they ever made. It's all I use for animated gif's.

                                      but with animators its all about the interface and plugins..

                                      I like ulead as a basic one, but it doesnt offer much..

                                              you can do animated gifs with flash with no problems, only you need to go to expert setting and select gif and then on the gif menu set it to animated
