    Anyone Need Colocation Around Here? $13/mbps

    Hey Everyone,

    I have a freelance Colocation business on the side. Ive got a great connect for space in the Equinox Ashburn Facility and can provide great colocation.

    Right I am doing a 1/3 split between Tiscali, SBC/ATT, and Cogent. We have our routers set for the best routing between the three. (we all know cogent has problems some places )

    We offer a monthly $100.00 per Powered U and $60 per Unpowered U. As well as an incredible $13.00 per Megabit per second.

    I can also rent servers for $200/mo (dual xeon, dual 250gig drives, etc.).

              That's not outrageous; and I do beleive you mean Equinix in ashburn correct?

                  Yup, its Equinix, sorry for the typo.

                  The bandwidth is extremely well priced, the colo does include the following:

                  - Seriel Console Per Server
                  - Remote Reboot

                  We also allow access to the facility during normal business hours with an appointment.

                  Its great for high bandwidth guys!

                      P.S. I can go as low as 1500usd/month for a full 45u locking rack.

                          with no bandwidth correct? how many amps? and how much for extra power?

                              no bandwidth, 40amps (potentially 60amps). I will get a quote for you in a second about the 60amp price.

                                  not trying to bust your bubble, but 1500 for a full cabinet is a little high even with 40 amps. your bandwidth pricing is good.

                                  find me a p4 with a gig of ram and 80 gig drive + 5 megs of bandwidth for $100 a month and i will try you out....

                                      The package has been designed for high bandwidth and custom application customers. If you need special routing, load balancing, dns work, etc. We can handle all of that, thats why people choose us.

                                      The p4 system I will have to look into...
