joebucks.com nailed on webmaster radio - they s......

    http://www.shoemoney.com/2006/02/23/...or-affilaites/

Just felt like creating a busy thread out of boredom so here goes..

I tuned into Web Master Radio tonight for the Town Hall meeting as Joebucks.com was going to be talking about there affiliates. I made sure I did not miss this show because IN MY OPINION joebucks affiliates account for 70-80% of comment spam on blogs on the Internet.

During the show I asked if it was OK to ask questions and was told to fire away. I asked specifically:

shoemoney: I have a question for Joe Bucks people - I see many of your affiliates spam my blog with comment spam and other means for your drug programs. I have reported them but they are still not
removed from your system months later. What is your official policy on SEO ?do and don?t? policy ?

They totally ignored my question and went on to talk about how they have many people making $250,000.00 a month and how the AVERAGE person is making thousands per month (BULLSHIT IMO).

I was getting pissed off as they kept ignoring my question?.

mugshot: how do they promote? ppc?
    mugshot: or?spam
    ogletree: what is there site
    mugshot: joebucks.com
    shoemoney: comment spam dude
mugshot: don?t think you?ll get an answer shoe
shoemoney: I am guessing 75% of comment spam on the internet for blogs is joebucks affililates
    shoemoney: they dont even care
    shoemoney: i find it annoying
    ak47: HOLLY SHIT

The HOLLY SHIT comment came after the Joe Bucks guy said that the ONLY thing they are against is EMAIL SPAM and that anything else is OK by them.

Thats right folks?. the green light for cloaking, spamming blogs, spamming forums??

Sick of seeing drug comments on your site? Email joebucks.com and tell them to quit encouraging the crap.

This isn't much different than most affiliate programs to be honest. The only thing getting extreme heat these days is email spam, most other forms of marketing is gray area but tolerated.
