I had a wolf/husky hybrid for a few years. He was the sweetest dog, but he did some strange things. I am not sure how much of this is because of the wolf in him, but there were definitely some very non-dog-like behaviors. For example, when he marked his territory, he did not just lift his leg on things. He backed up to whatever he wanted to mark, lifted his tail, and sprayed diarrhea on it. (This I learned the hard way when my ex suggested I take the dog along when I walked the kids home from school.) He would also walk sideways to avoid things. He'd criss-cross his feet and just move to the side instead of turning and walking around it like dogs do. If he wanted us to slow down, he'd walk up next to us and kind of twist/flip his paw up in front of us to trip us. Our chihuahua dominated the wolf dog mercilessly. Damn, I miss that dog...
