I turned them down about a year ago when they came to me looking to do a slant piece on porn.
I only do press that allows me to plug my clients and is lighthearted- or informational.
I won't do any piece that slants our industry, nor will I allow them to twist my words around.
That is the hardest part of what I do as a PR person. As a former Fortune 100 Sales Manager, I can tell you that my sales abilities combined with my good relationships I have nurtured, are what get me the exposure I get.It also determines howmany plugs I will get off in the long run
