A pitbull is more likely to attack you or your family members than a wolf is.
Wolfs always follow the leader, so they can not be allowed to get away with anything. If they feel like they are the leader they will be quite uncontrolable.
Deffinately not an animal that shold be kept by people that don't have experience.
Also I think you'd need to be living somewhere with plenty of space, deffinately not in a city
