    ** PLAYERS BALL ** Info on Players Cards and pass pick up locations

    OK, here's the deal.

    If you already regged for a Players Card, I should have it ready when you pick up passes.

    The passes will be available in Mandalay Bay at the Border Grill (Mexican restaurant/ bar) on January 5th between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

    You can come find me there for your Players Cards and Players Ball passes.

    ExtremePaychecks.com is picking up free drinks all day during those hours when you pick up your passes.

    If you're getting your passes from NATS, MerchSolutions or Mensniche, they will have a trade show booth and will hand their passes out directly, unless you're already registered online, then you can come pick them up from me on the 5th.

    This is guaranteed to be the best Players Ball I've ever thrown,
    Cypress Hill, Digital Underground, Flavor Flav, Don Magic Juan, surprise performances and other celebrity guests are confirmed.

    Limo's will be leaving Mandalay Bay starting around 9:45 pm and will continue all night back and forth from the venue (Prana Lounge next to Alladin).

    All of the Big Woody Award people have been selected, they just don't know it yet. I'll hip them to it when we get to Vegas.

                                                                              D what is the scoop if you have a Players Card and you show up with someone who just has a pass. Will they be able to get in the VIP line with you for preferred entry or will it be a "see you inside in an hour or so" deal?

                                                                              The reason I ask is that I am still waiting on a Sponsor to send two more codes for friends so looks like they won't be getting Player cards at this stage.

                                                                                          The Players Cards are cut off as of 4:00 pm today.

                                                                                          I mentioned it in a thread, but if people are still regging, they might still get one after Vegas. Too make deadlines, we needed to turn in what we had.

                                                                                          But the lessons learned here are the following:

                                                                                          Everyone likes the concept of a Players Card and wants it, so we can say it's already a big success. But the system is designed so the sponsors have less responsibilty in handing out each pass to each person, that's why I started the Players Codes. They can send out codes and reg people, then all they have to do is pick them up from our secret location. The problem with this year is that, and this really isn't a problem, but sponsors like to see results and issue codes on production. This means a lot of people who could have had cards can't because the invite process took a wait and see approach instead of sending them all out to the right people right away. I understand from the sponsors perspective, they want to wait until Vegas and see who they want to give the passes to, while other know right away who needs the passes.

                                                                                          We have only about 500 Players Cards registered, but it's the first year, that's pretty good considering it's new and no one really understands the whole thing yet but me. I'm branding a VIP type of status without a VIP area. These cards are fun to show friends and they will have perks like getting in the club early and fast.

                                                                                          I think if a person has a Players Card and wants to walk in right away with their group, it should be fine. There won't be a line anyway, nothing like in years past. So yes, sure, why not. As long as you roll in with a Players Card holder, you'll be fine.

                                                                                          But these cards are not passes, you still need the pass. Since cards only go to registered guests, of course they'll also have a pass anyway.
