    Who Owns America?

    http://www.kentucky.com/mld/kentucky...s/10411502.htm

I'm only truly concerned with this part of the story:

By last Sunday, Sen. John McCain was threatening to introduce legislation to toughen Major League drug testing if that's what it took. By Friday the president had reiterated his own demand.
Politicians are making DEMANDS upon citizens?! OH HELL NO! It is their job to work for US, not the other way around. The government does not own me, I own the government. It says so in the first 3 words of The Constitution, "We the people". The Supreme court has ruled that is a statement of ownership, therefore, we own the government.

McCain is even more of an asshole then I previously thought. It's not bad enough that he cowrote the "finance reform act" that restricts the free speech rights of groups of citizens, but now he's got to impose his will onto a privately owned and run organization. Fuck that shit!

                  Sure agree with that! :-)

When you consider the background at this time, the utter crap that people manage to create an appeal for, is a joke. They need to get the fuck out into the real world and address real issues/problems that affect loads of US folks on a daily basis.

Tho... in odd instances, ya gotta allow others their chance of justice as well :-)

Got plenty respect for John McCain tho don't no his motivation/reasoning for this.

On the flip side, yeah - *all* politicians are elected to SERVE, not dictatate. They are in office to comply with the wishes of the electorate.

It's clearer each month that some are far too comfortable with this position and assume much :-)

Japan owns the US, doesn't it? Funny how that worked out being as fifty years ago we nuked them.

Professional sports are a joke. What you've got is a bunch of rich fucking kids with egos and bad tempers. If you fine someone $10k when they make $4mil a year, that's not much of a fine is it? Next time they pop a drug test or hit someone in the stands they should be banned for life from professional sports. A doctor or an attorney would loose their license.
