WTF?? After all the natural DISASTERS this past week:

How the fuck, after 120,000+ people lost their lives to mother nature and all the shit that has been going on 'thanks' to the freaking nature... How the fuck can people still mention god when they talk? "Why did god did this to us", "what did we do to god". If your god fucking kills 120,000 human beings - why the fuck do you even remotely respect him or even the probability that such thing exists?

Why does God have to take the blame? If there is a God (which there isnt) to complete the myth there must be a Devil. Why not ask... "that fucker Satan must be realllllllly pissed off at us"
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

He doesn't, this is my point. He doesn't because he doesn't exist I hate when people take the easy way out and blame their god.

because as long as we know not the origin of existance, nothing can be conclusive.

perhaps - as I ponder - death is simply an introduction to a better place, a place in which only those who reside there can comprehend the true grace and happiness of the truth that has brought them there.

          And thus, I speak.

Even if you're right, why give a damn? You have 70-some years to live, why waste time thinking about something that is anyway inevitable? Deal with it when you cross the bridge

God also hurtles asteroids at us... it has nothing to do with the fact that the rock has been flying through space for thousands of years.
God also makes the water bubble in my tea kettle... it has nothing to do with the fact that I plugged the thing in and it adds heat to the water.
God also causes the sun to come up and go down which has nothing to do with the Earth's rotation.

When someone can't explain something, they say "God did it."

Because it is within human nature to need an answer when one is not present. Only for those who travel the path you have chosen of accepted uncertainty allow counter-culture principles to govern their ideals. To each his own, I say, if there is a god one would most certainly hope that he rewards those who strive to be good.

                    And thus, I speak, again.

I do know what u mean....

When I was nursing I looked after this 7 year old autistic kid. He was amazing, but he had about 15 fits a day. He was born normal but got meningitis as a baby and it left him with all these massive problems.

He had to wear a sort of crash helmet so he didnt knock himself out when he had a fit. His parents had stuck a label on the helmt saying "Jesus Saves"

I just wanted to shake them, I was so angry with them..... I look back and I realise it was a sort of gut reaction, I just couldnt help feeling angry with them

But you do realize that even after years of research you won't really know what to expect until... you actually die? Logic tells me that there is no point in even trying.

Hope my ass. Medicine, for instance, gives you hope, not god. Dude.

It's fine to believe in something, but my problem is that some people believe too much and therefore don't try to better their lives themselves. Believing is one thing, relying on whatever you believe in - is extremely bad.

That my friend, is horrible logic. Why use the excuse of uncertainty to not try? The wise man is always prepared. One should use the overwhelming amount of uncertainty to better themselves as much as possible, because it is best to be safe than sorry.

A wise man will tell you that there's no way to find out, UNLESS you choose to believe in one of the legends out there. You make your own choice.

Why prepare for the next life? Think about it. Did you prepare for THIS ONE? Nope. So again, LOGIC tells me you'll find a way to deal wherever you go

I agree that hope is definitely something to hold on to, I think the point is that 9/10 full on God worshippers are the ones who've had severe tragedy in their lives and THEN look to God.

It's ok for them to look to "Him" for hope and security, but the reasoning is what's wrong. That there's some vengeful all powerful being out there who kills 100's of thousands because they didn't build enough temples and pray on their knees enough.... so now the survivors have to give everything they have to some evangilists working in God's name (and driving Vipers) just so that they won't be given the smack down as well.

That's not hope... they may think it is, but infact, it's not.

That's not hope... they may think it is, but infact, it's not.

i was refering to the post about the kid with that disease and with the Jesus helmet, what is wrong with that? of course that parents only hope for their child to get better is "God" atm until science is more advanced.

but yes i agree with people who rely their lives on God, it helps to spread disease worldwide because people dont believe in medicine, everything comes from asia now.

i have a friend from the Phillipines and they belived in elves, and he fell in a well when he was young and his parents took him to a witch doctor because "elves" did it to them. that is a little to much into beliefs.

How the fuck can people still mention god when they talk? "Why did god did this to us", "what did we do to god".
