Either way it'll be a battle between two great QBs and two once-proud defenses.
GO GATORS!!!
Is this a serious statement? Brock Berlin is absolutely worthless. Horrible. Find me a Canes fan that likes him, it aint gonna be easy. On that note though, Canes fans are the worst in college football. My favorite Canes fan activity is taking the orange jerseys off and throwing them on the field after home losses (see Tennessee last year, VT this year, etc.). Now thats school spirit!
The gators should ROLL those sorry ass Canes, however, being a gator as long as i have, i know they tend to not do what theyre supposed to do. We'll see. Can you tell I dont like Miami?

Brock? Come on Daddy's Girl.. give me a break! Kid is useless!
Here is the real question... how many of you 'cane' fans actually went to school there? or just jumped on the wagon?
Well they jump on and off depending on the team's success or failure. I call them the I-95 Alumni. Just a quick ride on the interstate and all of a sudden they're part of the school. 99% of them never even went there or went to any college for that matter.
As far as the game, the Gators have a good shot in this one because Miami's run defense is very suspect and Ciatrick Fason has been running on good defenses. Florida's defense has been playing much better late in the season and you have to rate Chris Leak ahead of Brock Berlin. All that adds up to Florida 27, Miami 19.
Craig,
Blah Blah Blah, i have been hearing you spew that shit for more years than i care to admit
I can only speak for myself, but I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale Florida (ie: south florida) so it's pretty damn much perfunctory that i would be a Canes fan.
I also went away to USF in Tampa for school. At that time they were only just starting to get serious about starting a College Football Team. That being said, why would i suddenly change or switch my lifelong allegence when the school i was attending didn't have a team of their own??
I wouldn't, which is i still love the Canes and always will.
Oh and lastly, the reason why their are boatloads of UM fans who never attended the school down here... is because UM is actually selective about it's enrollment... unlike sorry ass UF.
GO MIAMI (I currently have 3 different bets with 3 different GFYer's... and i will be collecting)

What do you want? Miami is the second smallest school out of 117 1A college football teams. Florida's admission process, on the other hand, is a web form that asks for your name, place of birth, and a $25 enrollment fee. ;-)

Selective about their enrollment?! Not exactly. UM practically takes anyone who wants to pay that outrageous tuition for an average--and I'm being kind here--education. UF has the highest standard in the state for admittance. http://collegeapps.about.com/gi/dyna...e/rankings.cfm
Nice try LL. Still luv ya.

I don't hear you

If you would like to place a bet, please let me know.. i see no reason not to collect from you as well....

Both of these are some of the most misguided statements I have read on this board. Got boatloads of money? apply to miami, you will get in. On the other hand, when I applied to Florida for Fall admittance in 1996 with a 4.2 GPA in high school and a 1360 SAT, i was deferred and had to go to Summer in order to guarantee I could get in. And the standards are only higher now. You can say what you want about the successes of the football programs (which, of course, Miami has had much more of), but dont bring up academics concerning these schools because its not even a competition.
This game is already getting the press on the news in South Florida
It is sure to be one of the best if not the best bowl games aside from
the national championship so get your orange and blue on and lets
get ready to rumble!!!! Go Gators
