Wow.. I'm actually shocked at the number of paysite owners etc. in this thread that don't know about doing this. It's old school marketing. You don't have to believe me, go read some traffic generation articles on some resources sites. It's usually small programs that have done it and still do it, but it's effective and makes them money. Has nothing to do with Guba. Even SilentKnight has done it.
But you won't get anyone admitting it at this point since the mob "let's linch them all" mentality has set in.
