oh ya, great way to advertise.. I guess having ALL your content there will make people want to join your site when they know damn well they can get more stolen content on guba.. So lets see, I steal your content, put it up on a site, charge people money to access it easily and you think just because your url is on the content I stole from you that the surfer will join your site? LOL
GUBA may not be hosting the content (maybe some I'm not sure), but they are still profiting from someone elses work without prior permission. I guess because they're on newsgroups they are public domain? Fact is, sites like GUBA are nothing but thieves that don't want to have to really work to make money.

Defend them all you want. They are still thieves no matter what people say. It would be different if it was like this - They make a site that lets people access newsgroups BUT it's very specify.. (and it's free to join) when the surfer does a search it brings up 2 or 3 pics according to their search.. What the hell's the point?? Ok, no when the surfer clicks a link to a pic it brings him/her to an html page with the full size pic and a link like "See more of XXXXXX here".
So they would make money of sales to the actual site where those pics came from and there would be no stealing involved. Ya, they wouldn't be able to make an affiliate program, but hey, it's better than being a fucking thief and they would still make money.
Tell me, how is it NOT theft? Because they don't have the content on their server? Who gives a shit, it's still theft. They are just providing a way to easier access what is already there (on newsgroups)? Ya, and they're making money from other people's content.. If other webmasters started using stolen pics to make money we would get fried so why should it be any different for guba?
Oh but it's all the owners of that content putting up all their video and pic set for branding purposes so it's ok to use it..Tell me another one. At least 97% of the content posted on newgroups was posted by a surfer that joined a site, downloaded all the content. Is that what you would call the owner? Funny though, a webmaster cheats on a gallery submitted to tgps he gets blacklisted and in some cases his name is fucked.. Than we have guba who uses unlicensed content and make money from it, but that's ok? Fucking pathetic. Personally, if I owned a pay site and saw all my content on GUBA I would hired a hacker (easy to do around here) and have their server(s) fucked up badly.
Oh, but their "lawyers" said it's ok to do this.Well, let me say this.. Whoever this lawyer is needs to go to a real school and not have gotten his "degree" through correspondence.
