people who bitch about how high 1,6 x anual income is, dont get the most important point. If you buy a program that makes 100k/month net, doesnt mean you will make that much each month. If you are stupid you will make less, but if you are clever, you can work on the sites, make them better, implement new ideas, get new affiliates, etc etc and make 200, 300k/month...or even more and make the money back very soon.

The selling of programs in adult is tricky.
On one hand the selling price would/should be 1-2 years worth of profit or more depending on the program. Few programs would sell for anything less because they'd lose money. It would be more profitable just to run the thing or have somebody run it rather than sell it. On the other hand, adult is a much more volatile business than most with many uncertainties with regards to things like billing processing and affiliates - affiliates choose to send traffic, they don't have to. So in that respect, it would seem like a gamble even when buying a successful program.
This probably explains why the only major sales in adult in recent memory have been TGP's exchanging hands (ex. Worldsex purchase of AL4A), and programs having trouble being grandfathered into existing programs (Ex. Pornkings acquisition of Perfectiongirls, TripleXcash's acquisition Nocoeds). When that doesn't happen it appears that the program simply closes down.
