It's just in the middle east. I can't remember the exact quote from the movie Syriana, but it went something like this. These people were roaming around chopping each others heads off 100 years ago and in 100 years when the oil is gone they'll go back to doing that too. If it wasn't for oil in the Middle East, we wouldn't care about anything over there.

yea but thats not entirely historically accurate, i mean baghdad was the center of all learning for a very long time span in history

but changes do need to be made to make sure when the oil dries up....they don't revert to a state of uncontrollable chaos like we see in africa

See, and here I was thinking that it was gonna be Bush that was gonna start the next world war. Funny how people are willing to die for an offensive cartoon. and why the hell shouldn't they give authorization , i mean shit america went and invaded a country for various bullshit reasons , first it was links to 9/11 , then harbouring terrorists then it was wmds , each bullshit excuse having no proof to back up the claim

irans army doesn'tr have the technology or size of other armies , but with nukes threats , it should hold back some

Nuclear weapons are equalizers, just like a gun makes a frail old woman just as deadly as a strong, healthy young man. If I were Iran, I would be very worried about what country Bush may decided to colonize next.
