TGF if you love the stuff, you should come visit around now, this is when the syrup flows in abundance and you can go to 'Cabane à Sucre' - (Sugar Camp). Horse-driven carriage tours of the trees in 'production' - see the flow of syrup 'then and now' pretty cool stuff! Oh and you get to eat a full maple breakfast, maple based sugar pie, maple taffy poured on snow so you can roll it like you want and more of that yummy stuff. You get to see how it's processed and go into the cauldron room...pretty cool stuff.

Visit Québec! Go on Maple Overdose

Seriously though, it's quite fun and very delicious.

My grandma once 'adopted' a sap tree in Vermont (its good from there too) and for the year he got whatever syrup came from the tree. Who would have thought he would turn into a diabetic, huh?

I can't say I've done that, exactly, but warm syrup on your lady's stomach, chest, etc. is definetly a winner ... hot & sticky - takes much longer to lick it all off
