My best friend does this.
He already has the answer in his head but he calls anyone and everyone including my father to ask them what he should do because he wants them to confirm his answer which is usually wrong...LOL
Example:
Should I quit my job and bail on my child support to hitchike to California on a spiritual journey?
Our Answer: NO.
His answer: Sure.
