You're quick on the draw Kevsh, I was just coming to post this. :D
Nice game, good action, very tense, especially near the end. In a way I'm disappointed though, was looking forward to the classic Canada vs USA in the final. (assuming Finland doesn't beat us today)

Yeah, I wasn't going to gloat about Canada ... yet. This Swedish goalie looks almost unbeatable - She completely stoned the Americans in the shootout.
No one cares; I bet like 5 people showed up to watch it.
Did you put money on that bet?
I noticed at least a few hundred in the stands, including 5 or 6 members of the Canadian women's hockey team.
Truthfully I love all the events. Something about the Olympics brings it out. To many of these sports the Olympics is like the "superbowl" of those sports. The only other time they really get to shine in this kind of major way is at the world championships, but that still doesn't have the same kind of impact that winning Olympic gold has.
They definitely have a chance to win the bronze against the USA.
No, it would be too much to ask for (though i'd love to see it..)
Just seeing Los Americanos fold against Sweden was enough enjoyment for one Olympics (oh yeah, and the hotdogging snowboarder lose the gold too... priceless)
lol, they were thinking of dropping the sport because there was no competition for the US and Canada...well I guess the us had competition, thanx for handing canada the gold medal
lol at the girl on team USA that was pissed that canada was "running up the score" in their games, now she knows what can happen if you dont give it your all
USA players were great skaters but showed a real lack of scoring touch all tournament. high volume of shots but low scores. Except for the 3rd period versus finland when the Fins were tired.

I have to admit that the old czechoslovakia would be hard to beat today..
They were hard to beat back then!
They were one of my favorite teams to watch play back then. Whenever they played the Russians it was always a very fast-moving technical/tactical game with less dirty stuff and more of the pure hockey, passing, puck-handling, all in a classic rivalry.
We may have taught those teams how to take and give a hit and to show some emotion after scoring a goal, but they definitely gave us a wakeup call back in the 70's on what pure passing and consumate teamwork is.
