Yes, and I do believe hits is ALL hits... That includes loading of anything whether it be a jpg image or a css style sheet.

i think round robin is when you have a site hosted in three servers with it loading the site on one server 1st then the 2nd server second and hte 3rd server third - spreading the site loads accross three servers making it more dependable and harder to have outages ...

i only think that though i may be wrong lol

It's in fact a cheap way of load balancing, done by the nameserver, but with a few disadvantages. In some circumstances it can have the opposite effect.

Ofcourse it still works. The problem is the competition. Its getting to be too competitive. You better be willing to dedicate alot of time to the craft if you expect those kind of numbers.

Lets do some calculations here:

120k per day = 240 sales per day (1:500 on SE traffic is pretty realistic)
240 sales x $35 per sale = $8400 per day
$8400 per day = 3 million dollars / year.

Thats a lot.

120k is on his pages. Landing pages perhaps at a rate 1/1000 (max) so 12k on sponsors. Take a 0 from your figures. Then, count shaving or whatever you want to call it and if revshare, calculate $25 max per join. Still, 1/4 of a mill is not too shaby.

those are hits to HIS pages, not the sponsor.. do 5% CTR and now the hits go from 120k to 6k - or 12 sales a day. 10% would 24 sales a day, etc.
