His musical legacy, whatever it is, was destroyed by the stream of junk that record companies pumped out to sell his image and to capitalize on his death.
Let me use a different analogy. Yesterday I was walking down the street and I saw a Van Gogh painting being used to sell fucking flowers. The mastery behind the art was ruined by its context. Tupacs' emotions, his lyrics, his conscience - all are reduced to shit because SUGE KNIGHT acting motherfuckers pimp watered down remix after rerelease. Its all about the Benjamins right ?!?
Mainstream "rap" culture, of which Tupac is the dearly departed king has so many mixed messages that the whole genre just becomes bloated with phony haters. Tell me, what SOPHMORE MC album was EVER worth listening too? I may be wrong, but I can't think of one.
I wish I never hear another Tupac song again. I shit on Thug Life and everything it means today.
