              YARGH! I got a "demo" of it a while back. Pretty bad ass. They should have done this years ago, but never too late for a good idea.

                          They really couldn't because I don't believe Intel at the time was ready to piss MS off (i.e. MS would have put all their clout behind AMD).. or something like that... However, AMD has been producing some kick ass processors the last couple years and taking away even more and more marketshare. Intel needs this in order to stay the dominant processor maker. I said it in another thread that Apple is the one to watch. They've always been ahead of MS from a tech standpoint and now that they have intel on side they can make a real run at MS. Watch for some court battles to start up once Apple starts running MS apps on their system.

                                                      Anyways, not sure about the advertising in the us..but I think their slogan in finland is tacky. Sort of funny in the same time, how they manage to praise and talk shit about intel in one phrase.
                                                      Roughly translated:

                                                      "What the hell is Intel doing in a mac?
                                                      Much more than it ever did in a PC."
