I sell porn but I do not know anyone who makes porn. I went to Vancouver over a year ago and met some great people but I do not talk to the "talent" very often. I started this thread because I really had no clue. I had my assumptions. I do not hate women who do porn. I do think it is an odd choice in that most porn is violent towards women. Or most that I sell? Oliver Klozov's site is way more my taste but I do not sell that. Topbucks GangbangSquad is more of the style of a big seller for me. And I would not want my girlfriend featured on there.
nah seriously, girls like you are too rare in this biz
I know this is going to come across as snobby, but I don't mean it that way......
You are probably right. It is very easy to get sidetracked by the easy money...and the easier you are, the easier the money is. I have had to turn down dozens of offers of travel and cash for "dates" and it always does cross my mind how I could buy my kids this or that, but only for a second...I won't compromise my values for dough because once you take a tiny step down that path, it's a landslide into becoming the kind of person you swore you'd never be.
But on the other hand, I don't judge people who do make those choices...they are the ones who have to live with themselves and the consequences of their decisions, and if they can do so, that's on them. It's just not the choice I would make for me.
I know many girls from high school who started stripping, and most of them were doing things that disgusted them at the start within 6 months. Only one or two was strong enough to maintain their original stance, and of those who failed, only one was able to get out before their "career" choices affected their lives in other ways...some lost kids, some lost relationships, some went to jail or battled addictions. The sex industry has it's reputation for a reason, and I want to be the exception to all those rules and prove that it doesn't HAVE to be that way.

for you and this kind of attitude
i was just reading answers in that thread and say that people like you are the exception and not the rules... but i will be more than happy than see more people lwith this attitude in the biz, we all know Max Hardcore stuff sell well, but i dont want to see any girl i know have to do that to feed his addiction, whatever it is for what, but after all, its still their choice, they will have to live with the consequences of their actions
i've been told this by more than one shooter so I think it's got to have some validity - 'daddy issues'.
as you say, there are a million girls with money problems, a million girls who don't want to work as a waitress at Chili's - so there is something that makes the very small % of girls who do porn do it besides economic reasons.
exhibitionists? i think some are, they are comfortable with their bodies and do it for the excitement, i think this is a small %.
and others are pragmatic little business women, they find out what they can make doing it, realize they can make 10 times what a girl their age would make working in the real world and decide it's worth it with a plan to save and invest the money to get them to whatever the next goal is in their life.
Yup, DADDY ISSUES.... Plain and simple. Now I'm no Jules Jordan, but i have filmed over 200 girls, and there is one common theme. Daddy issues.
And whats funny is that being I'm a domiant male and somewhat of a patriarch, many of these girls end up calling me a week later with some "croosing the boundraies" bullshit.
My productions have been somewhat of a quest to find out what makes women tick and why they do this, and the common dominator is daddy issues.
Plain and simple....
Duke
predominantly because they're lazy just like a lot of adult webmaster who think they'll get rich submitting galleries instead of working at mcdonalds. so many of them think they'll be jenna jameson and then most of them end up getting tore up and used up, broke and out of the biz within 5 years.
You're right... the whore gene does encompass laziness... Most are slackers and sleep till 3 pm. If you notice most girls with a good head on their shoulders they are up by 9am everyday. Whores make their own schedule.. Thats why they are whores.

I remember meeting you in Vancouver
Sometimes I have people do kinda unusual stuff on camera, but I don't have girls calling me up the next week feeling violated. I don't think that is common, even for extreme hardcore. I would rather shoot one girl who is really into what she is doing than ten who are just there for a paycheck or some personal problem. Aside from the ethics issues raised, I just think it is hotter to see someone doing something they are excited by. Although my own sites today are based more around style than any particular act, I've shot watersports B&D double insertion stuff for magazines including Taboo and it's just fun to be capturing something naughty on camera that is exciting to the participants.
On the overall, do you think the harder core a site is, the better it sells or do you think there is a sort of optimal level of hardcoreness?
Almost always its for the money. I have known and shot with countless numbers of girls that have only done it one time for quick money as well as girls that start doing it for quick money and realize that they can make way more in one day than in a whole month at Micky D's and they keep doing it.
Forgive me for asking, but what is your site? I don't see a link to it in your sig.
Thanks.
I don't advertise it-I am not running an affiliate program right now, so there isn't really a point, and I try to avoid being flamed for bring a big girl. Once I have my program in place, I damn sure will take the verbal spanking as long as I get affiliates who bring me members, lol, but for now I keep it to myself. You can IM me and I'll give you the url if you'd like.

As far as the ones that I have met most of them (NOT ALL) have problems saving cash.....they flunked math and know nothing about economics. Now the women who are entepeneurs own their own site and make bank....the other ones dont see LONG term.....only short term...cause there only it it for a quick fix or buck. Some of them want to be the next big star...but dont understand that major "porn starlets" have paid there dues by doing whatever it takes to get there.

It is all about giving each surfer what they want but more surfers want hardcore. I know NN sells but Milf Hunter is bigger then that whole niche.

PS I remember you too. Glad to have met you.
unforchantly thats why sometimes some adult content providers try to pressure girls into doing stuff they dont want to do.....this continues the vicious cycle of abuse if she has already suffered through it in the past.
Plain and simple answer there lazy whores or stupid whores or both lazy and stupid whores and to do porn you must be some sort of a whore. Because there are other ways a good looking girl can make money but htey involve hard work and/or talent. She can get signed to a model agency, become an actress or study hard and become a professional, either one of those careers she can make 10 times more money than any pornstar and not even have to take her clothes off or suck 30 cocks.
Money and also the ability to work only when you want to work.
Fame: Yes indeed some girls like the idea of being famous...if you can't make it in hollywood, porn can give you some of the fame.
