palm tree, sun and stuff like that are welcome and something vectorial is better if need to use it on business cards or letters.

$100 will be sent by paypal to the best logo designer and I will go to $150 if it really fit my needs ( or if the designer is ok for 2 or 3 final improvements ).

Why not make it $150 right away? It will improve your chances of getting better designs.

a 100$ is LESS than the price of a logo. Why would designers want to spend time on it, if they already have customers willing to pay the price... That may be why you dont have lots of entries.

it's your right not to participate to this contest if you think it's not enough.
But some peeps here can design good stuff quickly and make $150 fast. And I personally prefer to get my logo here and give bucks to a GFY member.

its not about the money, for some its a hobby. But thats too hard to understand for some people.
