this time of year look for white marlin, pacific sailfish and striped marlin.
live baits will typically work best fished with a kite rig
fast trolling dead baits is good too...you cover more water but sraw fewer hookups this way.
I assume your captain is experienced...If you are paying him, let him do his job. If this is something you got together with some buddys and yer gonna do all on your own....stay on the dock you could get killed.Mike South
