    Damn neighbor!! Way to be a prick for the holidays!

    So I decide to look out the window and maybe snap a couple pictures... what do I see?? This prick at the end of MY drive way kicking off all the black snow and dirt from under his car.... and THEN he pulls forward and goes into his drive way 2 houses over.

    I think I'm gonna go out with the shovel and scoop it up and drop it in his driveway.

                                                                                                                          It looks like across the street the sidewalks are cleared except at the property line, where there is a wall of snow. What good is it to do that?

                                                                                                                                                                      You can pay services to come and do it for you, or you can do it yourself. My city has certain requirements of when you need to clear your sidewalks, to allow kids to walk to school safely, and a company does most of the sidewalks in my neighborhood for $50-$100 a year. You can opt to not pay them, but then you gotta shovel at 6am, plus when the company's truck comes by, they turf your lawn, plow more snow onto your sidewalk, then ride over it to pack it down. It's an effective form of marketing.

                                                                                                                                                                      If you're shoveling manually, you just throw it in a pile...it compresses quite a bit as weight is added. In the pic there, the sidewalk across the street looks cleared, it's just a pile of snow in front of that. Next to the road piles tend to get bigger since snow plows push the road's snow there. (In less populated cities anyway...in big cities they truck the snow out).
