Clean low bandwidth alternative. 10kb in total including html and images. Should loud pretty much instantly on any broadband connection and within two seconds or so on dialup.
Note: If chosen, a new silhouette will be used. Just using that one as a place holder. Will need some licensed content to make a new one or i can just draw something similar. (I didn't create the silhouette currently in there).
Well, okay. Some designs posted here are fine. HOWEVER, I'm personally sick of websites that look like enhanced versions of parked domains at Ultimate Search and the likes, and websites that look as if they are entirely based on a cheap $20 template (not talking about any of the designs posted here specifically). I hate these trends, and while they make money - other ways will make SO much more.
Why the heck do all sites have to look like fake search results and give you the feeling of misleading links [to actual interesting content] in the form of "Categories"?
Sites such as sex.com make me laugh. Yes, I bet they make money, maybe even $10K a month in net profits (don't laugh, I don't think Gary makes more than that). But that is *nothing* compared to a real quality site with ads served to the user based on many different characteristics and variables, as opposed to a bunch of 8 ads on one page. Oh well.

Well in fairness to those that submitted entries so far, we've just done what we were asked to do. It's not the designers job to decide the direction of the website. Just gotta follow the specs set out by the client.

Personally, I'd pic that logo, and build a fast loading CSS site around it, with mainly text. I like QuaShe's site, but it's too graphics heavy for my taste.
Especially for a type-in heavy domain like porno.com, I'd use a text-based style with that hot redlight zone type logo.

My
Yeah I thought about that too and it shouldn't be too hard to make the buttons in HTML using the same 1 image button background over and over again. That way it will be all texts buttons wich should load faster and will work as keywords on the same time.
Originally posted by WiredGuy I actually like that logo as is. You've already branded it rather well in your sig file so I kind of expect that logo when I go to the site at this point. There's nothing wrong with simple and brandable
I just think the whole redlight theme suits the domain better in terms of branding and making it recognizable. Redlight has always been automatically linked to smut - toons however, haven't.

As chodadog said above ..
Went by the specs/suggestions I was given .
They were given privately .
But I agree totally .. my reply to KRL was to stick a logo and some CSS on the page .
My other stab at it was nice , but I thought it was way to heavy for a site like porno.com http://www.twistedbydesigns.com/porno/ So I didnt bother with it .
