    Young Buck charged with Vibe Stabbing, faces 8 years in prison

    LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Rapper Young Buck was charged on Monday with stabbing a fellow performer in a dispute over an autograph that touched off a melee at a Los Angeles-area hip-hop awards show last month, prosecutors said.



    Young Buck, whose real name is David Darnell Brown, attacked rapper Jimmy James Johnson after Johnson was refused an autograph by Dr. Dre and then punched the rap impresario in the face, prosecutors said.

    Dre, whose true name is Andre Young, was waiting to go onstage to receive a lifetime achievement award at the Nov. 15 Vibe Awards show in Santa Monica, California.

    The dispute set off a chair-throwing brawl that spread through the audience of about 1,000, but did not halt the ceremony, which was later televised on network UPN.

    Johnson was arrested and remains in custody on a suspected parole violation, prosecutors said.

    Brown, 23, faces up to eight years in prison if convicted of the charges filed on Monday, prosecutors said. He remains free on $500,000 bail and was set to be arraigned on Monday.

                                      There is a difference between hitting someone in the face and stabbing someone. When you stab someone its easy to kill that person. Only a retard would try to kill someone because of a punch in the face.

                                              im sorry but i dont agree with you on this one, you are usually extreme with your opinions im surprised with your stance on this.

                                              with so much imigration and races everywhere people pack different things and fight different ways.

                                              chinese bring knives, lebenese fight with their belts, black guys with guns, white guys with everything.

                                              this is just a basis for each race but when some stranger in coming up to me i am immediatly thinking of what they have on them, im never the one to start a fight, but if someone is gonna come up and put me in physical danger its not worth hesitating.

                                                          Well, i guess its a difference in the place/country where we live because i still think its retarded. People shouldnt even carry knives with them. Normal people dont walk around with knives. Theres no need to, at least not here in Holland.

                                                              belive me neither do i, weapons are stupid but i have them around me at least if i feel threatened, and its not the weapons its the drugs, im sorry to say but when certain races takes alot of drugs it makes them go crazy.

                                                                  Yup you should, just to witness it for yourself whats it like to be able to walk around without the fear of people with knives and guns. Ofcourse, we have incidents too. Yes innocent people get beat up, people get stabbed for nothing. That happens, everywhere, no matter what country. But its rare. Im so happy to live in a place where guns are not legal. Also lately the police do this thing called preventive searching. They go to whatever street and search everybody who walks there. Usually on saturday night where a lot of youth goes to the bars and clubs.

                                                                  One can say its a bad thing but i dont agree with that. I have nothing to hide and i dont mind being searched for 30 secs if that means take can take away 5 knives from the street that night. Even 1 knife makes it worth it.

                                                                      dont get me wrong, calgary has low low guns, but with imigration coming in it doesnt help, some people just live different and are in an entire different mindset. there is alot of problems at the clubs here but there is not much they can do to stop it. there is a major prob with asian gangs here and knives, the coke and e trade is going through the roof, those guys eat that shit like candy.

                                                                      with the cop thing, i personally hate police and do not want them near me, but what can you do.

                                                                          There is this small bar i go to often, the owner if a friend of mine. Next to it is a coffeeshop, you know a puff puff one.

                                                                          Its only visited by black people. Now i hate to use them for this example but thats just the way it is. There are ALWAYS problems there. At least once a month a big fight. And almost every week some bitchslappin. One of those guys almost killed the owner of the bar im always visiting. He hit him with a huge ass rock in his face. Trying to kill him. Thats the problem with these guys, they see no difference in hitting someone and trying to kill someone. And yes sadly enough, if the guy had a knife instead, or a gun he wouldve used it.

                                                                          Why those guys have to fight every week i dont know. Its a difference in culture and as a whitey i simply do not understand them
