Which Game System Should I Buy?

Well PS2 has more games and the newer version is very small thus more portable. XBOX lovers like the idea that it has a hard drive and they can hack it. Thus turning into a sort of computer of which they already HAVE since they are on the internet. So I don't get that.

PS3 will be out in about 12-18 months and will blow them all away.

Xbox, put a modchip in it and you can play NES/SNES/GBA/N64 etc games on it too

Not to mention you can copy DVDs and games to the hard drive and play them directly from there.. you can mount network shares and watch DVDs that are stored on the network. And much more..

Modded Xboxes are awesome.

You can do EVERYTHING with a modded xbox, it's like a PC basically...

PS2 without a doubt. I have just about every console thats come out since Nintendo except XBox and the only one I ever play is PS2.

We have all three... the kids are split between all of them, depends on which game they are playing. The younger (10 years old) ones like the GameCube better, but the older ones like the XBox and PS2. My hubby likes the XBox the best, though. I guess it comes down to which games you like to play and which system that game is available for.

I would also suggest getting a Gamecube just for the Resident Evil series and Nintendo exclusives like the Zelda games and such.

Xbox and PS2. PS2 for the games not available on the Xbox. Xbox for the same reason and because those that are available are better. More power means that often even the same titles are tweaked better on the Xbox.

If you've had every console EXCEPT the xbox how on earth can you say that for sure?

It'd be interesting to know how many of those that said PS2 actually own a PS2 and an Xbox and have done for any length of time

I sold my PS2 and got an Xbox and I am soooooo glad that I did its so much better then the PS2 in my oppinion

I love Xbox live every game I have is for online play thats the kind of games I like to play if you like online play games get an xbox
