Your CC has a limit and a fraud prevention department.
It's not a big deal to put your name, address, SSN, and possibly bank info into an online form and send it who knows where? With your name, address, and SSN; I could get 6 cards (with CVV and EXP) and a mortgage in your name...
I see a difference alright, thanks.
P.S. I won't enter a CC number online without seeing a cert either.
