So this must be new thing because I recall one of the reasons that Jesus had such a large following was that the Jewish people of that time would not allow anyone who is not truly Jewish to convert and Jesus(being Jewish himself) said that this is not gods way and blah blah blah.... so then the Jewish people killed him.
Also traditional orthodox Jews of today do not accept converted Jews.Comment
