Why would Time Magazine use something one of your hippie buddies on the internet came up with? I'm sure they've got some designers, they've got it taken care of buddy..But Time thanks you for the suggestion!

I caught it on the news this morning and they were mentioning that it had nothing to do with how "wonderful" he is, more of a "who created the most news" kinda thing. (That was my impression)

In any case, more evidence that Playboy has better articles then most of the mainstream bullshit out there!

Hitler, Stalin and the Ayatollah Khomeini were Time's "Person of the Year".

Here's what the Time site said about Bush when the page first went up:

"For sharpening the debate until the choices bled, for reframing reality to match his design, for gambling his fortunes?and ours?on his faith in the power of leadership, George W. Bush is TIME's 2004 Person of the Year. "

Now it says:

"For sticking to his guns (literally and figuratively), for reshaping the rules of politics to fit his ten-gallon-hat leadership style and for persuading a majority of voters that he deserved to be in the White House for another four years, George W. Bush is TIME's 2004 Person of the Year."

The 'nice' version is no compliment.
