pretty badly . now she is charged with a felony for malicious michief. this girl has never done anything in her life besides this, not even a speeding ticket. she just found out on Friday that there were charges. She is surrendering today for booking and can pay her bond and then leave.
She wants to get a lawyer, but I have advised her to plea it down to a misdemeanor and take her punishment. Don't fuck around with a felony. If she goes in there lying and trying to say she didn't do it and they see through it, it's over for her. She doesn't want to listen to reason.
Also, i keep telling her to not talk to the cops when she surrenders. She won't listen to that either. She thinks since he has hit her in the past and wont pay child support that they will take mercy on her because he is a piece of shit. I keep telling her that's not the way it works. This is about HER.
