    Google and Dmoz - wtf?

    maybe I'm years late, but I didn't notice this before, Google Directory and Dmoz are almost mirrors of each other....


    wtf google?

    are they giving sites an extra bump in the serps for being listed in that piece of shit corrupt directory?

          yeah, I suspected such.... only reason I looked at google directory was I was analyzing a site that seemed to be much higher in the serps than other factors indicated that it deserved, then I noticed the dmoz backlink and started to rage
