X Box questions ...

I won an X Box recently and wanna know a few things, as it will be here tomorrow:

1.) I won a US XBox, I am in the Netherlands, will European games work on a US system? I could buy a shitload of games on ebay, but I need to know if they would work;
2.) What are good games, I like adventure (not too difficult, I have work too do), racing games and platform games;
3.) Does an XBox play all region DVDs, or just Region 1 for a US version of the box?

I just got a new Xbox the other day. The graphics are pretty amazing. I just rented Tony Hawk 3, Street Hoops and Test Drive. I heard Halo is amazing!

Try Amped.. its a great game and only made for the Xbox so the graphics rock!!

Halo - is probably one of the most popular Xbox games.. I just downloaded gamespy and the gamespy tunnel for the xbox. This allows you to battle online! It rocks!!!!!

euro games will not work on a US XBOX but there are mod chips for it.U cannot play dvds out of the box u need a seperate remote for the dvd playback.Halo is a great game along with Dead 2 Rights and Sega Rally is one of the best racing games out there and no it doesnt play all region dvds

I think I will too

Test Drive ... I've been looking at xbox.com for a few hours now and I like that game, I think that is #2 on my list of games I want. If I know what kind of games will work on the box, I will buy a few on ebay, most are only 30$ there.

I saw some of the mod chips being offered, but for like 150$, might as well buy an additional xbox for 199$

why do that when u can import US games? try www.ncsx.com www.lik-sang.com those are the best spots for buying import games

Of course, that is the idea. Not only are there much more games in the US, they are cheaper too.

I won't be able to swap games with friends though.
