    I'm Game Over

Well that's that I just had a call from the US from the company where I rent my server space. Guess what they are dead, so my server space is gone and all my files to. AND NO I HAD NO BACKUPS. Over 400AVS sites wasted in less than an hour, years of research and work wasted, my babes are dead and will never come back again. So for me it's bye bye well it's never bye bye but I have this newbie feeling all over me and I hate it !

You mean to tell me you don't have any backups anywhere?

Dude how the hell does this happen. Isn't it a business?

Let this be a lesson. Make backups of everything. If you have php/mysql script do a dump on the database every so often so you can at least restore.

This is not a hosts job or responsibility. If your in this business treat it as a business

                    Make Backups !!!

Everybody wants cheap hosting these days in order to do this the hosts have cut out big expenses like raid drives and such unless you are willing to pay for them to set them up for you.

That's unbelievable man. You have nothing at all? Wow. I don't personally do tape backups of everything I have, but I do have copes of all my work on my office system and my home system. Once in a while, I'll burn some stuff on CD when I'm sure I'm keeping it.

You know Teen Kelly converts like crazy.
