    What to do in Washington, DC

    For anyone who lives in DC or knows it well. Im going to the hockey game on friday night to see the Leafs play the Capitals. I've been to DC before and know there is alot of touristy type stuff to do.

    From any locals - Can you recommend some fun stuff to do/places to go for my girlfriend and I? Also, we're staying at The Madison in DC hotel.. any good? anyone stayed there?

              The only real thing to do in DC is leave. That place is a hole. though the government sites are nice. Just don't venture too far off the beaten path.

                          go down to Georgetown and there is a restaurant called "Nathans" at the corner of M and Wisconsin. At midnight they change the restaurant over to a bar/lounge and spin 70's and 80's records... lots of hot, young chicks and everyone has a great time... they don't throw you out until about 3.

                                  Actually, there is a bar called "Hawk & Dove" on 3rd Street in Southeast that is always CRAWLING with "just out of college" Congressional interns. They're all hot... and broke.

                                          Staying in DC? Then check this out...

                                          1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington DC
                                          Try staying there for a couple of days. Just be ready with your finest suits and costumes.
