At most registrars the default is 30 days

        Don't reply. Let it die.

They seem to be able to hold them for quite awhile..

I have been waiting on one from oct 13 exp date.

The reg has 30 days to hold it incase you forgot to re-register , then they have like another 45 days to get their money back and the registration is auto billed to the registrar , but they can hold it for however long they feel i think.

if you really want it you should just backorder it. everyname i have backodered has luckly come through. i use snapnames.

the ones that i wait for to drop up usually get picked up by someone who mass backorders. if you out bid them atleast u have a chance.
