One thing that is interesting about all this drama is that Chasin and I are friends...good friends. We've been friends for a long time. I shot for his new website all summer was looking forward to shooting more for his company. He and I have had many many discussions about his business and he's shared with me lots of thoughts and concerns. Chasin has NEVER had a problem discussing with me any problems or concerns that have crept up thruout our time working together. As a matter of fact, he and I had lunch just last week and he mentioned nothing of having a problem with me or something that I did. Until last night I thought that Chasin and I were the best of friends and I'm still in shock today about what he has alledged of me.
When I accepted this contract with Twistys.... it was Chasin that I dreaded to tell the most. I considered him one of my closest friends and one of my biggest fans. I knew that it would make him sad that I would not be available to shoot for his new site and I was not looking forward to telling him the news of the Twistys contract. His whole website was built around my photography and Chasin was very proud of that. I would never do anything to jeapordize my friendship with Chasin so I'm still very confused about what exactly has transpired here.
With that said....I know that I have only done good for Chasin. I pretty much dedicated my whole summer to working closely with him to shoot literally hundreds of sets of pictures of some of the freshest faces in the industry. I spent hundreds of hours behind my computer screen color correcting & retouching thousands and thousands of pictures for his new site. I even gave him a special day-rate because of our friendship and spent time teaching his brother how I color correct & retouch my images so that he would have a good dependable retoucher in the family as his website grew more successful. NOT ONCE did I ever shoot a girl for Chasin and then behind his back ask the girl to shoot with me for another website. Whatever has been alledged here of me is absolutely false.
Roger, I'm sure whatever you and Chasin discussed was meant for your ears only and not for public consumption. I know Chasin very well and I know that he does not like being dragged into drama such as this. Whatever his beef with me...it could have been handled between Chasin and me. I understand that you felt you had a need to defend your friends at Epass and I'm happy to do a little pissing with you - but I never expected that you would stoop so low as to start and spread these kinds of alligations....especially when they were told to you in confidence.
This is about all I have to say about this little piece of drama. I'm sure the haters will look past the truth and focus on the rumours because that's about all they have to pin me on - unsubstantiated rumours. Chasin is (was?) one of my dearest friends and any rumours of me doing anything to hurt his business or our friendship is totally false.
