Ya know, I live in LA now...and you'd think that an eclectic town like LA would have moved on past the top 40, but man...the music the DJs at clubs is worse that I've ever heard anywhere.
The other (most terrible) trend is the DJ will tease you with 30 seconds of an AC/DC song before going back in 50Cent or some other lame shit.

I was a wedding DJ for a year or two part time.
That song coupled with the "Electric Slide" gave me an unpleasant feeling in my tummy...and still does!
Those songs also remind me of all the bridesmaids I ended up fucking by the back dumpster of most country clubs.
