Roger, your boy Chasin shouldn't be mad at Dean or us. I didn't find out until I had signed Dean that everything Chasin had shot was Dean's work. Fact is every single one of Chasin's girls had been either on our radar, already contacted, or already shot before Dean or Chasin were in the picture. Dean never offered a single model to us. We always did the leg work and requests. And besides if we didn't sign Dean one of the big magazines were about to.

Roger, I've always felt we seemed to be on the same page of things. However in this thread I'm sensing some anger or something from you to us. Are you pissed at us? What's the deal? If there is more to this story then email me at shap at twistys.

I have to say, no offence to anyone but this sounds like some fuckin high school shit to me. "Ohhhhh he shot my model that isn't exclusive to me, with a photographer i use but don't have signed to a contract." The is business. Plain and simple. Securing Dean as a member of the Twistys team was a business decision of ours.

If you think shooting the same girl 2 months later is bad. How about a photographer of mine that books a girl for 3 days and shoots her for 4 to 5 different companies including their webstore during that time without telling a single client that they are doing all that. Now that is fucked up.

Roger I just read your other PIMP thread and replied to you. I tried to explain my side of things to you. I honestly did not use your name or drama with Dean as hype for our release. Truth is if anything this downplays it. I'm not big on any publicity is good publicity. I like to keep things 100% positive. I'm sorry you felt i tried to take advantage of the situation or that Dean baited you. Nothing is further than the truth. I promise you that. You have my word on it. That's not how i do business.

I didn't want to post in any of these threads, but my name was mentioned so I felt I need clear a few things up here.

First of all, there's no hard feelings betwen Dean and I nor any anger on my part towards Twisty's. You guys have made some smart recent biz decisions and I respect that. We have some great plans ahead and competition only makes me step up my game.

Roger was obviously aware of my production situation and he posted as a friend. Dean can be hot-headed on boards as we all know I wasn't looking for any drama, but as always, it can be good for biz for the both of us.

Ok this is what I expected from you and I do respect you for it. the thread just shocked me since it really didnt have much to do with you..but you did the same thing i did and that was protecting your assests or friend etc.
the story I was told is a little differant but I can see both sides.
Business is business and I understand totally.

I should not have even said anything I was upset at comments Dean made about people close to me so I struck back but wasnt intended for anyone but him to understand that he should back off.
He decided to egg me on and It got out of control.. I'm to busy for this shit but sometimes this place sucks me in.

You know what's funny? I started the thread thinking we were close. With the mindset that me starting anything with you was so far out of the question the rest of my post would be obvious. You know what i mean? Same thing I would do if Lou were the other guy. I'd start a thread with his name knowing he would open knowing 99.99% chance that i was settling the score and not continuing something. I'm sorry it didn't come off that way and I can see how everything could look shady. This is the adult web and we are on gfy afterall. I assure you that was not the case. Posts and threads don't always give off the tone intended. I was really hoping it would settle things right away and to be honest I didn't think it involved Chasin. There is another company out there that I believe is pissed we got Dean and pissed we bought BF and I thought this was about them not Chasin. I'm still pissed about that Epass thread though LOL which has nothing to do with you..just tired of all the company bashing on the boards without knowing both sides of the story. it erks me all the time to see good companies get slammed by anons I dont agree with the playing field I guess.
and dean was the only one I could target who wasnt anon.

Chasin is a good guy and I'm glad you feel the same way I really missunderstood your Post wow. goes to show picking up the phone the old fashion way doesnt leave any missunderstandings.

Actually it depends what you said to her to tell you the truth. I do biz with people that annoy the shit out of her but its business and everything cant be a love fest. No you havent ever been bad to me, in fact I hope we get to meet you when we go to tampa next time. Paypal denys a whole industry is different then denying one person.Also I hate to say this there are alot of crooks and cheats in our business and I can see why paypal took the action it did.

One thing that is interesting about all this drama is that Chasin and I are friends...good friends. We've been friends for a long time. I shot for his new website all summer was looking forward to shooting more for his company. He and I have had many many discussions about his business and he's shared with me lots of thoughts and concerns. Chasin has NEVER had a problem discussing with me any problems or concerns that have crept up thruout our time working together. As a matter of fact, he and I had lunch just last week and he mentioned nothing of having a problem with me or something that I did. Until last night I thought that Chasin and I were the best of friends and I'm still in shock today about what he has alledged of me.

When I accepted this contract with Twistys.... it was Chasin that I dreaded to tell the most. I considered him one of my closest friends and one of my biggest fans. I knew that it would make him sad that I would not be available to shoot for his new site and I was not looking forward to telling him the news of the Twistys contract. His whole website was built around my photography and Chasin was very proud of that. I would never do anything to jeapordize my friendship with Chasin so I'm still very confused about what exactly has transpired here.

With that said....I know that I have only done good for Chasin. I pretty much dedicated my whole summer to working closely with him to shoot literally hundreds of sets of pictures of some of the freshest faces in the industry. I spent hundreds of hours behind my computer screen color correcting & retouching thousands and thousands of pictures for his new site. I even gave him a special day-rate because of our friendship and spent time teaching his brother how I color correct & retouch my images so that he would have a good dependable retoucher in the family as his website grew more successful. NOT ONCE did I ever shoot a girl for Chasin and then behind his back ask the girl to shoot with me for another website. Whatever has been alledged here of me is absolutely false.

Roger, I'm sure whatever you and Chasin discussed was meant for your ears only and not for public consumption. I know Chasin very well and I know that he does not like being dragged into drama such as this. Whatever his beef with me...it could have been handled between Chasin and me. I understand that you felt you had a need to defend your friends at Epass and I'm happy to do a little pissing with you - but I never expected that you would stoop so low as to start and spread these kinds of alligations....especially when they were told to you in confidence.

This is about all I have to say about this little piece of drama. I'm sure the haters will look past the truth and focus on the rumours because that's about all they have to pin me on - unsubstantiated rumours. Chasin is (was?) one of my dearest friends and any rumours of me doing anything to hurt his business or our friendship is totally false.

Not sure why your trying to get the last word in when I thought it was resolved. But you keep going on and on so it must be bugging you let it go I am totally over it as I'm sure everyone else is.
