tried this before:
you need a public ip to do this ( disable or alter settings on your router/firewall).
in your PC enable file & printer sharing in (LAN connection applet)
START > RUN > OPEN
\\your public ip here\shared folder name
* dont forget to pass protect the folder via folder properties
thats it
