I hear ya.
I do not get pissed if they tell me it would take 2 months to get a complex script done. I won't like it, but atleast I have a time table. I DO get irate when I am told it will take a month, and 5 months later I still do not have it.
What pisses me off more is when they e-mail me "final revision" or something implying it's final when there are still bugs which I find in 5 minutes of fucking around in it. I get more pissed when I get a revision back, and things that worked before do not work now. I become livid when things are changed I did not specify, and those I did are not completed on the next "final version". I fly into the atmosphere when it's finally closest it's ever been, and then they forget to code for SFTP, not FTP. I fly off the handle when they do not pay attention, have to make fixes they want to charge extra money for because they do not know how to code for the billing company Verotel versus others. I vow to never do business again with them once I realize every "fix/revision" takes 1-2 weeks for me to see it corrected, or hear from them.
