What an absolutely brilliant idea he came up with and obviously it paid off huge for him. Did anybody follow the lawsuit against him by some of the girls appearing on the cover of their video tapes?
The judge threw it out of court, basically saying "anybody who raises their shirt to be nude on camera in the middle of a public street shouldn't complain when that video is seen by one person or a million".
Their videos are complete shit, but the marketing is brilliant. Just like all informercials, the best of what's on the tapes is what's seen (& censored) on TV. They take the best few clips and preview them on those infomercials, giving the customers the impression that the whole tape is that good, when in fact it's not at all.
I haven't heard about this up & coming Eminem related tape, but I could imagine it's gonna sell great. Who wouldn't want to get a behind the scenes look at what goes on behind the scenes of a huge concert tour like Anger Managment? Everybody always hears about the sex, drugs, etc... and this will be the best way for non rock stars (or groupies) to get some insight.
