Attention Advertising Buyers *Important*

Please be aware there is a company that is stating they are selling advertising through us.

We have nothing to do with this company and do not / will not sell them advertising. Be careful if a Melissa/ms_twist ICQ 204-407-085 contacts you on ICQ and wants to sell you paid spots on any of GTS's site owners sites.

GTS site owners you will be receiving an e-mail tomorrow from me regarding this individual. She may contact you asking to buy advertising from you directly, since we won't sell it to her for re-sell. She says we have "no interest" in selling her advertising. Which is complete bullshit! We just won't sell it to her to re-sell to other buyers.

Anyways just thought everyone should know about this.

"December 1, 2004 Since we got started, we have sold 28 gallery spots. We knew this would be a popular service, but we didn't know it would be this popular! Thank You"

However I just checked our back end admin system and she has never bought advertising from us?

It sucks because she is now going behind my back and telling stories to my site owners. I just had a site owner message me and tell me what she was up to.

We have worked hard to establish the relationships with our site owners and buyers. It sucks when someone comes in and trys to disrupt all that just to make a couple of bucks.

We can't find any proof that they have bought those 28 spots, so it looks like this company is full of shit. I would hate to see any customers burned by dealing with them instead of us.

You cant even pick a site.. someone chooses then they try to get it from GTS and resell it.. not to mention they dont tell you how much any of this is going to cost.

Read the 'how it works' link Mark, it's actually not a very bad idea, and could be good for your business, it gives your potential spot buyers the possibility to try out some spots before they buy a full month, (all they do is split the monthly spots price with 4 people) am i missing something?

Hey Nickless, here are our major issues with this person re-selling our traffic.

1. This reseller will constantly need attention and modifications to her list of galleries that her buyers have bought. Hence we have to spend 10x more time with this reseller than we would ever have to with any of our real customers.

2. If she messes up listings say on Sublime Directory for a buyer. That buyer who bought the spots through her will probably never buy from Sublime Directory again. Is that fair to Sublime Directory? Or to GTS?

3. We have spent an entire year building good relationships with our site owners. I don't want this person to disrupt the very decent relationships we have with these people.

We have re-sold traffic (text links) to people such as Choker and a couple of others. But the people we have re-sold traffic to have all been up and up reputable companies. Plus they weren't trying to jerk us or the site owners around.

I sometimes wish we could offer smaller length packages but to be honest the logistics of having to get 5 galleries at a time from customers would be a nightmare. Plus there would be way too many open spots and missing days... Lost revenue for us and the site owners.

Yeah it's risky having a third party doing that (also without permission from you) and now thinking a bit more it opens the door wide open for cheaters.

But as an idea i think it would be good if you do that straight from GTS, small fish like me think twice before putting $1500 on a spot that i don't know if i will break even, and if it gives good results then i could jump to pay for a full month.

I would honestly look at it from this Angle. Figure out price per day and Match it to ours. This girl is Making a Profit off both these small time buyers and throwing galleries of her own for free. you are not guarenteed what days you get. for the few extra dollars for the 30 days you are in essence saving yourself money and are getting all the great days with little to no wait for gallery spots to be filled. As well with a middle middle man the timeframe if you need something Switched is increased which could lose you Time and Money.
