WTF? Just because Kobe is a private guy and isn't a good ole boy like Shaq, everyone hates him. Kobe tried to make up with Shaq a long time ago and Shaq wouldn't have it. Then Pat Riley "made" Shaq make up on national TV, so Shaq looks like he's a better guy, but you don't hear Kobe trashing Shaq in the media like you hear Shaq trashing Kobe all the time + tripping him on Christmas day, etc. A lot of people that played with or coached MJ, say Kobe has a lot of the same qualities. hogging is good when you score 63 or 81 points in a game and you come back from a 18 point deficit to win by 17 and you single handedly do it all yourself. If Kobe had better teammates that could freaking shoot and not make bonehead plays at the end of the game to lose(Odom) or can't catch or dunk or layup the ball cuz hands or two small(Kwame Brown) or consistently hit shots(Smush Parker) or just be plain terrible(Luke Walton) then Kobe should pass it more and/or shoot less, but his teammates suck and they would lose.Comment

He also is not a team player, which is why his team is in 3rd place. Jordan was a great individual player, but he knew how to build up his teammates and pass the ball too.
I guess Kobe's defenders missed the deliberate forearm assault Kobe slammed into Mike Miller in a game a few weeks ago which earned that great sportsman Kobe Bryant a suspension without pay.
People like Terrell Owens and Kobe Bryant are bad for sports. Yes, they have loads of talent, but their attitude and lack of class and sportsmanship are an insult to the games that have made them rich celebrities.

Jordan had teammates who could play well, Kobe does not. Jordan would not have passed the ball to the other clowns on this Lakers team. They are in 3rd place only because they have Kobe. They would be nowhere without him and they would be higher if he hadn't missed two games and if Odom didn't fuck up sure wins at least 3 times. In the Memphis game Kobe got beat up good without any calls and that has happened a lot this year and indeed a Toronto player hit Kobe in the eye on purpose tonight and there was no call. I would be freaking pissed too and hit back if that happened to me. 9 out of 10 people would. I love how people think Michael Jordan was some sort of teammate god.
He was known to freeze guys out just because they offended him. He called for the ball all the time. If you think he always passed to the open man, you are crazy. He drew double and triple teams, every time he had the ball, someone was open.
MJ is one of the great players, but there are lots of people to consider. Kobe is only what, 27? Saying he will never win another title is very premature.
Funny enough, Jordan has called Kobe before many playoff games in his career. Jordan has also been known to say that Kobe is one of the greats.
Kobe is a superstar NBA player. Some nights, you get the one man show. Iverson does it. Shaq and Robinson have done it. Any player that scores more than 20 points in a game could have passed to someone.
